1st November Lecture. Sussex Women.

The 2nd Museum Lecture of 2017:

Sussex Women,

By Ann Kramer

Bexhill Museum's next lecture takes place at St Augustine's church hall on Wednesday, 1st November at 2.30pm when Ann Kramer will be speaking about Sussex Women.

Ann is a freelance non-fiction author and historian and has written more than 50 books, either for children or adults, on subjects ranging from Suffragettes and land girls through to conscientious objectors and women spies.

One of the books she most enjoyed writing, however, was her book 'Sussex Women' in which she describes 30 rather remarkable women associated in some way with Sussex.

Born and brought up in London, Ann has made Sussex her home for the last 40 years. She believes that the county either produces or has attracted some fascinating women.

There is a charge of 4 per lecture (3 for Museum members) which includes refreshments.
