April 7th: DaySchool: NEW WORLD CIVILISATIONS

DAY SCHOOL: NEW WORLD CIVILISATIONS: SAT 7th April 2pm-4.30pm

Ken Brooks will be returning to host this fascinating Day School.

While great civilisations of Egypt, Greece and Rome were declining 'New World' cultures were flourishing in South America. Moche, Chimu and Nazca craftsmen were discovering electroplating which helped them produce a great variety of pottery depicting everyday life as well as mythological creatures. A fascinating collection of Moche pottery can be seen at the Museum which also ties in with the BBC collection of programmes on this subject.
Places need to be booked as sessions are limited to 12 people so please pop into the Museum and fill in a form and book your place.
12.50 per person, 10 Bexhill Museum members including Mid-afternoon refreshments.

Venue: The Education Room, Bexhill Museum
