The idea of the course is to build skills, knowledge and confidence to design and make a wonderful array of embroidered items.

Cost - £30 to include entrance to the museum on the day of the course and tea, coffee and biscuits (please bring a packed lunch). To book a place please telephone (01424) 787950 or come into the museum on Egerton Road.

A list of the materials and equipment you will need to bring along will be issued when you book, some materials will be available to buy from the tutor during the workshop.

Embroidery is a fascinating and enchanting process; in this course you will take inspiration from Bexhill museums collection of intriguing exhibits to explore colours, patterns and textures to develop your own designs. The designs will be worked with free-machine embroidery to embellish fabrics.
