STEPPING OUT TO BURTON’S ST LEONARDS:
With the increasing popularity of seaside bathing in the early 19th century, James Burton was inspired to create a purpose built ‘watering place’. During this walk we will look at the original building development of St Leonards. This will include Subscription Gardens and buildings in a variety of architectural styles.
