Bexhill Museum Buy-A-Bulb Lighting Appeal.
The lighting in our galleries is no longer adequate to properly display our wonderful exhibitions to best advantage. Keeping up with the task of replacing failed bulbs is a constant struggle.
Now we have the chance to install LED lights that will last for 12 years and be cheaper, brighter, better, safer, (for volunteers climbing ladders). The cost is around £4,000, which would be recouped in under 3 years through reduced electricity costs, but we don't have it.
An appeal has been launched on the JustGiving web site where donations can be made by card or text, but cheques are welcome too made out to Bexhill Museum Ltd. Write "Buy-A- Bulb Appeal" on the reverse.To buy a whole bulb for your Museum costs £41.16
for a LED down light; £23.10 for a Par 30 LED; £24.94 for a 6ft LED
tube; £28.93 for a 5ft LED tube; £24.43 for a 4ft LED tube. Any contribution would be appreciated
