Guided Walks and Talks

Guided Walks And Talks:

Heather Morrey and a team of volunteers run a programme of guided walks each year. The subjects are diverse and often link with temporary exhibitions in the museum, anniversaries or national awareness days. Most walks take place in or around the town and are not strenuous. Surrounding rural areas are also occasionally covered. A charge of 3.00 is made per person [accompanied children 1.50]. Due to the nature of the walks, they are unsuitable for dogs.

For details of the current programme see our museum calendar

or click the link in the list on the right.

Our walks team may be able to provide bespoke walks, tailored to your requirements, on items of historical interest around the town. Groups are charged at 4.00 per head, with a minimum group charge of 48.00. The optimum number for a group is 20.
